Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID) serves as the voice of airports. It represents airport members, operating over 600 airports across Asia-Pacific and Middle East. ACI APAC & MID is head-quartered in Hong Kong and has a Middle East office in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We represent the collective interests of airports to promote professional excellence in airport management and operations. Asia-Pacific and the Middle East is the most dynamic aviation markets in the world, home to nine of the fastest-growing markets globally. The impact of our industry is significant that according to the latest Economic Impact Assessment, air transport supports 46 million jobs and contributes $1.18 trillion to GDP in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. With air traffic set to expand, the aviation sector’s direct contribution to GDP is projected to grow annually by 5.1% in Asia-Pacific and 4.5% in the Middle East over the next two decades.


ACI is a federated organization, comprising ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, ACI Africa, ACI EUROPE, ACI Latin America and Caribbean, ACI North America, and ACI World. In representing the best interests of airports, ACI makes a significant contribution toward ensuring a global air transport system that is safe, secure, efficient, and environmentally sustainable. As of October 2025, ACI collectively serves 830 members, operating 2181 airports in 170 countries.
